You post us the document(s) for translation that also need a Notary service. We recommend posting them by special delivery (approx. cost GBP 7.00) under signature to ensure they are delivered to us the next working day promptly and safely. Alternatively, you are welcome to come to our offices and deliver the documents in person.2;
The translator(s) of the document(s) or a representative from our company Reflective Source Translations Ltd. meets with a Public Notary commissioned to provide Notary services in the UK and Wales in his (her) office.3;
Both of them declare on oath, in writing by signing a Statutory Declaration that the translation is true, correct and to the best of our knowledge.4;
The UK Public Notary then puts his (her) embossed stamp on translated document(s) and Statutory Declaration.5;
We post the notarised translation by Special Delivery to your provided address or you can collect it in our offices.

The process of Notary translation and then legalisation by an Apostille involves the following steps:

You post us the document(s) for translation that also need notarisation service and an Apostille. We recommend posting them by special delivery (approx. cost GBP 7.00) under signature to ensure they are delivered to us the next working day promptly and safely. Alternatively, you are welcome to come to our office and deliver the documents in person.2;
We carry out the translation of your documents and proofreading by the second qualified translator3;
The translator(s) of the document(s) or a representative from our company Reflective Source Translations Ltd. meets with a Public Notary commissioned to provide Notary services in the UK and Wales in his (her) office.4;
Both of them declare on oath, in writing by signing a Statutory Declaration that the translation is true, correct and to the best of our knowledge. We normally provide you with a Notary’s Certificate (Statutory Declaration) in two languages: the original language of the document and the language it is translated into or the official language of the country you are going to use the document. This is extremely beneficial because you will be using the translated and notarised documents in a foreign country.5;
The Notary then puts his (her) embossed stamp on translated document(s) and Statutory Declaration.6;
We post the notarised translation by Special Delivery to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office on the same day. The official acting on behalf of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office completes a final document which confirms that the Notary signing the notarisation had the authority in which to do so. Usually it is an Apostille affixed on the other side of Statutory Declaration signed by the Notary. This final document acts as proof that all legal steps have been completed and that the authenticity of the document should not be contested.7;
The Notarised translation with an Apostille is returned to us by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office by Special Delivery.8;
We post the notarised translation with Apostille by Special Delivery to your provided address or you can collect it in our offices.Usually the process of translation notarisation and then standard (non-urgent) legalisation by an Apostille in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office takes approximately 20 working days (excluding the time for translation; their processing time is longer during festive and holiday periods).
